Dutton Island Park and Preserve 

Description:

Dutton Island Park and Preserve is nestled along the east bank of the Intracoastal Waterway in Atlantic Beach. Consisting of 342 acres (242 acres of marshes), the Preserve is adjacent to the City of Atlantic Beach’s Dutton Island Park and residential properties. Enjoy a picnic at one of the several pavilions under a canopy of sprawling live oaks, or launch your kayak and explore through the winding salt marshes.

Features:

Dutton Island Park boasts picnic pavilions, a boardwalk trail, nature trails, a fishing area, kayak launch, and restrooms. Future plans include two observation areas, four additional picnic facilities, and more nature trails.
