Huguenot Memorial Park
Huguenot Memorial Park’s 313.8 acres are considered by the Duval Audubon Society to be the premiere birding site in the Duval County. The Park contains a Strategic Habitat Conservation Area, a Critical Wildlife Area, and a Great Florida Birding Trail designated by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Features: This site contains camping grounds, picnic pavilions, new restrooms, fish cleaning station, and parking with security monitoring. Future planned amenities include a lifeguard tower, eco-friendly camping, shoreline stabilization, wildlife observation tower, Timucuan bike trailhead area, overlook improvements, and increase camping areas. 10980 Heckscher Drive Huguenot Memorial Park is located in North Jacksonville off of Heckscher Drive, along the mouth of the St. Johns River, Fort George River, and the Atlantic Ocean. |
