Planning Department available to give presentations on update to the comprehensive plan.

The City of Jacksonville is in the process of updating their comprehensive plan based on the Evaluation and Appraisal Report prepared last year. Representatives from the City are available to give presentations to home owners assoications or other groups interested in hearing about the proposed changes to the comprehensive plan, specifically the future land use map. They can also discuss the vision planning process that is currently underway for the Urban Core, the Southeast and Arlington/Beaches. The city is attempting to have a draft done by October, but they have the option to extend that by six months.
