The Jacksonville City Council voted to pass the ordinances relating to development of Moody Shipyard.

Despite a coalition of Councilmembers from the Beaches speaking out against the development, only three Jacksonville City Councilmembers voted against the proposed land use and zoning changes. The proposed development now goes to Tallahassee where it may meet some opposition since the DCA recommended denial before.
