Ribault River Preserve

Description:

Ribault River Preserve consists of 41.2 acres, divided into two phases: Phase I = 37 acres; Phase II (Restlawn) = 2.2 acres. Despite Phase I’s suitability and awe-inspiring river views—such as manatees swimming in Ribault River—the surrounding neighborhood has opposed a $2.1 million park design/construction and a land use change to conservation. Phase II is in the process of a zoning change. Hopefully soon this prime river property will be a favorite spot for family fishing, picnics, and games of horseshoes.

Features:

Phase I – None present or planned. Phase II – Planned amenities include a picnic pavilion, canoe launch and pull out, nature trail, horseshoe pit, stone game tables, and a fishing pier.

Location:

3250 Clyde Drive
Jacksonville, FL 32208

Ribault River Preserve is located on Clyde Drive in North Jacksonville along the Ribault River, adjacent to the Harborview neighborhood.
